We are very serious about studying what the Bible truely says. We dont want man's opinions, thoughts, ideas, traditions or strategies. We want to know the very thoughts, desires and will of God. The only way to do that is to study the Bible and to understand and know what He actually thinks and says. The Bible has often been misrepresented by churches that exalt their own words as more important than God's Word. The Bible's wonderful message of freedom and reality has often been obscured by religion, hypocricy and compromise. Its truth has been hidden under a pile of man-made lies and tadition.
We have enjoyed a beautiful wedding season over recent weeks in the church with two beautiful weddings and we have also taught on the marriage covenant on Wednesday nights. Hidden within the marriage covenant between one man and one woman is a picture of Christ and the Church.

Each year the Bible out-sells every other book in the world. It is the worlds best-seller but more importantly it is God's Word to man. It is a unique book. More Bibles have been produced than any other book in history. It is estimated that between 2.5 billion and 6 billion Bibles have been sold. The second bestseller of all time is Mao Chong’s Chinese Little Red Book, which has sold about 900 million copies.
Daniel Radosh wrote in The New Yorker: “The familiar observation that the Bible is the best-selling book of all time obscures a more startling fact: the Bible is the best-selling book of the year, every year.” He also stated that ‘The year that Harry Potter hit its highest sales, twice as many Bibles were sold in the same year. It has been translated into over 2200 languages which covers about 90% of the world’s population. There are almost 4000 other languages still to be reached with 1300 of them in a present process of translation. At this rate all languages could potentially be reached by the year 2023.
