HOW TO JUDGE BIBLICALLY

HOW TO JUDGE: In this serious we are not asking 'Should we judge' but 'How to judge.' If we search the scriptures we find that we are not only allowed to judge but we are commanded to judge. The vital question is not 'Should we judge' but 'How to judge, when to judge and what to judge.' Nothing has done as much harm as the two extremes of 'not judging what God commands us to judge' and 'judging what God commands us not to judge.' We must first be sure that we are qualified to judge and then we must carefully follow the wisdom given by the Holy Spirit in the written Word in order to judge correctly. This is a day of deception and illusion which makes this subject of judging even more vital for a healthy Christian walk. Christ warned that just before He returned the greatest danger would be deception yet we have never heard such an emphasis on not judging within the church. This is a vital subject for this hour.

I have spent four decades in churches. Most of that time has been spent in very good churches and under very good ministry of the Word. Yet in all these years I have only heard one complete message upon How to Judge and that was in a small house meeting some 13 years ago. I am convinced that most give little time or consideration to this biblical subject and fewer still obey it. This has prompted me to teach this series.
